Our Mission & Vision
Lok Shiksha evam Prashikshan samiti aims to establish a redeemed, regenerated and progressive society, which will be free from exploitation, injustice, stigma and discriminations, and disparities – where the overall development, joy & peace, and dignity of every person will be secured, where people can live in joy & peace with solidarity, co-operation & brotherhood and where the rights and dignity of each person’s will be protected. All these things would be brought about in our times and through the transformation and sustainable development of the society in which we all are living at present times.
To empower the deprived, underprivileged, marginalized and vulnerable section of the society to- wards self-reliance and human dignity irrespective of their cast, race, color, and religion: Enhance sustainable livelihood of poor, needy, underprivileged and downtrodden people of communities. All men/women’s, children’s, youth, and adult may learn, grow and develop to realize their full potential and aspirations. Try to reduce major and prime problems like Poverty, Illiteracy, Domestic violence, Child marriage, Child labor, Child abuse & trafficking, Unemployment, Social Injustice, Corruption, Discrimination & stigma.
Histroy
Lok Shiksha evam Prashikshan Samiti is a registered organization since the year 1998 and Recognized by Panchayat and Social Justice Department. The main activities that are being done by the Samiti are the implementation of different schemes, Public awareness campaign, various training programs, de-addiction public awareness campaign, urban and rural development programs. The working area of the organization is in Khandwa district as well as in entire Madhya Pradesh.
Empowering Communities Through Education & Skill Development
Nasha Mukti Lok Chetna Abhiyan
The organization has been working in the Khandwa district for about 25 years in the field of de-addiction. Through various means of communication in rural and urban areas of Khandwa district, the organization is trying to make people avoid tobacco and drugs.
Women Empowerment
Accelerate the community driven initiatives for women empowerment, sustainable livelihood, health management, total literacy and all round development of the operational area.Capacity building for youth and women through vocational training and mentoring support for their entrepreneurial endeavors and to make them economically independent.
Child Care
To work for child right preservation and all round development of children. To encourage all effort that contributes to the quality and quantity of education to children and adolescents.
To plan and execute programs for persons suffering from disability with particular aim of their skill formation in different trades to lead normal life like other citizens in the society.
Founder & Director
Shri Alok Joshi, the founder of Lok Shiksha Evam Prashikshan Samiti, was a dedicated social worker and visionary leader who devoted his life to the upliftment of society through education, skill development, and social awareness initiatives. With a deep commitment towards community welfare, he established the organization to empower underprivileged and rural communities in Khandwa district through knowledge, awareness, and self-reliance.
Under his guidance, the organization worked tirelessly for nearly 25 years in the fields of de-addiction awareness, computer education, youth empowerment, and community development. His inspiring vision and selfless efforts continue to motivate the organization in carrying forward its mission of creating an educated, healthy, and empowered society. His contribution to social welfare and public awareness will always be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
